Snickers Cake
- 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix, 18-20 Ounce Box
- Additional Required Ingredients Specified On The Cake Box (typically Water, Eggs And Oil)
- 14 ounces, weight Caramel Candies (like Kraft), Unwrapped
- 1/2 cups Butter
- 1/3 cups Evaporated Milk
- 1 cup Peanuts
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1 can (16 Oz. Size) Chocolate Icing
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Coat a 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
- Prepare cake mix according to directions. Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes.
- While cake is baking, melt caramel, butter and milk in the top of a double boiler.
- After 20 minutes remove cake from oven and pour the caramel mixture over the top, smoothing it to cover the enter cake. Top with peanuts and chocolate chips. Cover with the remaining cake batter and bake for an additional 25-30 minutes.
- When top layer is done, remove from oven and cool completely. Ice with chocolate icing.
