Soft Graham Bread
- 1 whole Egg
- 1 cup Sugar
- 3 cups Whole Wheat Graham Flour
- 1 cup White Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 pinch Sea Salt
- 2-1/2 cups Buttermilk
- 2-1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 2 Tablespoons Milk
- Melted Butter, For Brushing On Loaves (optional)
- Cream egg and sugar together in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix flours and salt with a whisk to blend. Add flour mixture alternating with buttermilk into the creamed mixture until everything is added to the mixer. Mix baking soda with the 2 Tablespoons of milk and add it to the batter. Gently mix until just combined. Pour into two greased loaf pans and bake at 350 degrees F for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Butter tops of bread and cool.
- Slice and serve with your favorite butter topping. Lightly sweet and delicious!!
