Sour Cream Coffee Cake
- FOR THE COFFEE CAKE:
- 2 sticks Butter
- 1-1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 3/4 cups Cinnamon Chips
- FOR THE TOPPING:
- 2 cups Finely Chopped Walnuts
- 2 teaspoons Sugar
- 3 teaspoons Cinnamon
- Cream butter, sugar, and sour cream. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
- Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture; mix well. Fold in cinnamon chips.
- Make topping by combining chopped nuts, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F and thoroughly grease a bundt pan.
- In the bottom of the bundt pan, put about 1/3 of topping mixture, then a layer of half of the cake batter. Sprinkle with the remaining topping. Finish with remaining cake batter.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 55 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes then carefully flip onto cake plate.
