No Boil Lasagna
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 2 (14 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 c. mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 c. creamed cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach
- 2 egg whites
- 2 tsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 12 oz. lasagna noodles (uncooked)
- 6 oz. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
- Saute onion and garlic in 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
- Add ground turkey and brown, then drain.
- Stir in tomato sauce, mushrooms, water and oregano.
- Boil, then remove from heat. Combine cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, drained spinach, egg whites, 2 teaspoons vegetable oil and salt.
