Heavenly French Crepes
- FOR THE CREPES:
- 3 whole Eggs
- 1-1/2 cup All-purpose Flour
- 3/4 cups Water
- 3/4 cups Milk
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 3 Tablespoons Melted Butter Or Margarine
- FOR THE ASSEMBLY:
- 2 cups Diced Fresh Strawberries
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Water
- 1/2 cups Nutella
- For the crepes:
- In a mixing bowl, lightly whisk the eggs, then add the flour and combine. Add the water and milk and mix until smooth. Add salt and melted butter and mix until smooth.
- On medium heat place a non-stick saute pan (we use a 10" pan) sprayed lightly with cooking spray.
- Once pan is heated place about 4 ounces of the batter mixture into the center of the pan and rotate and tilt the pan to evenly distribute the batter. Cook for about 2 minutes until edge of crepe lifts of the pan. Flip it over and continue to cook for another minute. Remove crepe from pan and place it on a plate. Continue cooking crepes until all of the batter is gone.
- For the assembly: Take the diced strawberries, sugar and water and mix in a medium bowl.
- Spread Nutella on one side of a crepe and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of the strawberries on top of the Nutella. Fold crepe in thirds and place on a plate. Add more strawberries on top. You can drizzle chocolate syrup on top to make it look even more yummy! Repeat and serve.
- Note: See related blog link for a Bananas Foster filling to use with the crepes.
