Spaghetti Pie
- 6 oz. spaghetti
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 lb. ground beef or pork sausage
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 to 3/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 (8 oz.) can whole tomatoes with juice, chopped
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 3/4 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Cook spaghetti according to directions. Place hot spaghetti in a large bowl and toss with butter.
- Add Parmesan cheese and eggs; toss.
- Form spaghetti mixture into a "crust" in a well-greased 10-inch pie plate.
- Set aside.
