Fudgy Chocolate Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 325u0b0F. Grease cookie sheets.
  2. In small saucepan, over low heat, melt the chocolates and butter. Set aside to cool.
  3. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  4. In large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the sugar and blend until thickened. Add the melted chocolate. Reduce the mixer speed to low and add the flour mixture. Mix just until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Drop by tablespoonfuls, 3-inches apart, onto prepared sheets. Bake 13 minutes or until they rise slightly and form a thin crust. Remove immediately from sheets to wire racks to cool completely. Makes about 18-20 cookies.
