Mexican Pizza
- 1 1/2 c. Bisquick
- 1/2 c. yellow corn meal
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (4 oz.) can green chilies
- 1 envelope taco seasoning
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 (16 oz.) can refried beans
- 1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
- chopped lettuce
- chopped tomatoes
- chopped onions
- Heat oven to 425u0b0.
- Grease 12-inch pizza pan.
- Mix first 3 ingredients until soft dough forms.
- Pat dough in pan with floured hands and bake 10 minutes.
- Cook ground beef until brown; drain. Stir in chopped chilies, seasoning mix and 3/4 cup water.
- Heat to a boil, stirring frequently; reduce heat.
- Simmer 5 to 10 minutes until thickened.
- Spread beans over crust.
- Top with beef mixture and sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake 10 minutes longer.
- Top with lettuce, tomatoes and onions to serve (taco sauce, if desired).
