Layered Ranchero Dip
- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can jalapeno flavored bean dip
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2/3 c. mayonnaise
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning
- 4 medium or 2 large ripe avocados
- 2 Tbsp. lime juice
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 8 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 c. sliced green onions
- 2 c. chopped tomatoes
- 6 oz. chopped olives
- tortilla chips
- On a 15 x 10-inch or large shallow serving platter, thinly spread bean dip.
- In a small bowl combine sour cream, mayonnaise and taco seasoning.
- Spread over bean dip.
- Peel, pit and mash avocados.
- Combine with lime juice, salt and garlic powder. Spread this over the mayonnaise and seasoning layer. Sprinkle cheese, olives, tomatoes and onions over last layer.
- Serve with tortilla chips.
