Creamy Pineapple Squares
- 2 c. cold water
- 2 (8 1/4 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon flavored gelatin
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
- 2 (3 oz.) pkg. lime flavored gelatin
- 2 c. boiling water
- Dissolve
- gelatin
- in
- boiling water.
- Chill until thick but not
- set.
- Drain
- pineapple reserving 1/4 cup liquid.
- Fold pineapple
- and
- pecans into gelatin mixture.
- Pour into lightly oiled 9-inch square pan.
- Chill until almost set, then dissolve gelatin
- in
- water.
- Add
- reserved pineapple liquid.
- Gradually add to cream cheese, mixing until well blended.
- Pour over lime gelatin layer.
- Chill until firm.
