Sugar Chips And Berry Salsa
- 25 whole 4 Inch Wontons, Cut In Two Pieces On Diagonal
- Butter, Melted
- Sugar
- 1 cup Fresh Raspberries
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- Juice Of 1/2 Of A Fresh Lemon
- 1/2 cups Fresh Strawberries, Finely Diced
- 1/2 cups Fresh Blueberries, Halved
- 1/2 cups Fresh Mango, Finely Diced
- To prepare chips:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray baking pans with cooking spray and wipe with paper towel to keep spray even and thin.
- Brush each wonton with melted butter and place in single layer on cookie sheet. Sprinkle each wonton generously with sugar.
- Bake 4-5 minutes until crispy and edges are light brown.
- To prepare salsa:
- Combine raspberries, honey and lemon juice. Smash to make a puree. Add remaining ingredients and toss gently.
- Makes about 1 and 1/2 cups of salsa.
- *Frozen fruits can be used, but fresh is preferred.
- *Doubles easily!
- *Use extra salsa as an ice cream topper or add to breakfast cereals.
