Spicy Slow Cooker Chili
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 2 whole Bell Peppers, Diced
- 1 whole Jalapeno, Diced
- 1 whole Medium Onion, Diced
- 1 pound Ground Beef Or Turkey
- 1/4 cups Chili Powder
- 2 cans (15 Oz. Size) Pinto And/or Dark Kidney Beans
- 1 can (28 Oz. Size) Diced Tomatoes
- 1 can (8 Oz. Size) Tomato Sauce
- 1 cup Water
- 1. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bell peppers, jalapeno, and onions. Cook until softened.
- 2. Add the beef. Cook until beef us no longer pink, but not well done.
- 3. Add chili powder and coat the meat and vegetables. Transfer everything into the slow cooker.
- 4. Add beans, diced tomatoes (including juices), and tomato sauce. Top with water. Stir to mix.
- 5. Cook on high for 6 hours, or low for 8 hours.
