Spicy Slow Cooker Chili

  1. 1. Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bell peppers, jalapeno, and onions. Cook until softened.
  2. 2. Add the beef. Cook until beef us no longer pink, but not well done.
  3. 3. Add chili powder and coat the meat and vegetables. Transfer everything into the slow cooker.
  4. 4. Add beans, diced tomatoes (including juices), and tomato sauce. Top with water. Stir to mix.
  5. 5. Cook on high for 6 hours, or low for 8 hours.
