Spicy Turkey Chili
- 1 whole Yellow Onion
- 2 Tablespoons Minced Garlic
- 2 cups Fresh Spinach
- 1 pound Ground Turkey
- 1 Tablespoon Each Of Red Cayenne Pepper, Ground Ancho Chili Powder, Cumin, Red Pepper Flakes
- Salt And Pepper
- 2 cans (14.5 Oz. Can) Diced Tomatoes
- 1 can (4 Oz. Can) Diced Green Chilis
- 1/2 cups Beef Broth
- 3/4 bottles (12 Fl. Oz. Bottle) Dark Beer
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire
- Sautee the yellow onion (diced) in a skillet with olive oil. Add the minced garlic. Cook for another minute. Meanwhile, add the fresh spinach to your slow cooker. Top with the onions and garlic. In the same skillet, brown the ground turkey. Season with the spices (red cayenne pepper, ground ancho chili powder, cumin, red pepper flakes). Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Once browned, add the turkey to the slow cooker. Top with the diced tomatoes and diced green chilis. Mix together. Add the beef broth, dark beer, and Worcestershire. Cook on high for 4 hours.
