Oatmeal Drop Cookies

  1. Cream shortening 2 minutes at high speed in large bowl. Add brown
  2. sugar to shortening and cream 3 minutes.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 1 minute at high speed after each.tdd rolled oats;
  4. mixt few seconds.tift together flour, baking powder and salt,

  9. Stir in remaining ingredients and drop by teaspoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  10. Bake at 375u0b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove
  11. from sheet while hot.
  12. Store in jar or tins; will remain crispy for days.
  13. Makes 5 dozen.
