Turkey Crunch(Microwave)
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/4 c. chopped celery
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 (5 oz.) can chow mein noodles
- 1 1/2 c. diced, cooked turkey or chicken
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces, drained
- 2 Tbsp. diced pimento
- 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. frozen French-style green beans, thawed and cooked
- Combine margarine, celery, onion and green pepper in a 2-quart microwave-safe covered casserole dish.
- Cook on High , covered, 5 minutes or until tender, stirring once during cooking time. Combine soup and milk in a small bowl; stir into onion mixture. Stir in 2 cups chow mein noodles (1/2 can), cooked turkey, mushrooms, green beans, pimento, poultry seasoning and salt.
- Cook on High 7 to 8 minutes.
- Stir once.
- Sprinkle remaining noodles around edge of casserole.
- Cook on High for 30 seconds.
- Let stand 2 minutes before serving.
- Microwaves vary, make sure it is hot enough.
