Mixed Berry Coffee Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 375u0b0F. Lightly grease a 9-inch square pan with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. For the streusel topping:
  3. Combine butter, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a small bowl. Mix until it resembles coarse sand. Set aside.
  4. For the cake:
  5. In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside.
  6. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the egg, milk, and vanilla extract.
  7. Gently mix in the dry ingredients. Gently fold in berries.
  8. Spread batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle streusel over top. Bake 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
  9. Let cool in pan 10 minutes before serving. Serve with your favorite tea and enjoy!
