Square Pudding Pie
- 1-1/2 stick Butter Or Margarine, Melted
- 1-1/2 cup Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 packages (2 3/4 Oz. Size) Instant Chocolate Pudding Mix, Or Sugar Free
- 3 cups Milk, Whole, 2% Or Skim
- 8 ounces, weight Regular Or 1/3 Less Fat Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar
- 10 ounces, weight Package Whipped Topping, Regular Or Fat Free
- 2/3 cups Pecans, Chopped
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0F.
- Mix together the butter, flour and salt in a small bowl. Spread into a 9x13 pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool.
- In medium sized bowl, combine the dry pudding mix with milk and beat until thickened. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and mix well. Add whipped topping and blend until creamy.
- Spread pudding mixture over the cooled crust and then top with the cream cheese/whipped cream topping. Top with finely chopped nuts.
- Chill well before serving.
