St. Germain Champagne Cocktail
- FOR THE SIMPLE SYRUP:
- 1/2 cups Sugar
- 1/2 cups Water
- 3 sprigs Rosemary
- FOR THE COCKTAIL:
- 3 Tablespoons Rosemary Simple Syrup
- 4 Tablespoons Fresh Lime Juice
- 5 Tablespoons St. Germain (French Liqueur Made From Elderflower Blossoms)
- 1 bottle Sparkling Wine, Prosecco, Or Champagne, 750 Ml Size
- For the simple syrup: Combine 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water and 3 sprigs of rosemary in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for about 20 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat, remove the rosemary and chill the syrup until ready to use.
- For the cocktail: Fill a martini shaker with ice and add 3 tablespoons of simple syrup, lime juice, and St. Germain. Put the lid on and shake well. Pour into five champagne flutes and top each glass off with sparkling wine, Prosecco, or champagne.
