Dumplings (Gluten-Free/Dairy Free)

  1. Mix together dry ingredients. Mix together Ghee and shortening and cut into dry mixture until it resembles course crumbs. Add the nut milk and mix until moist.
  2. Cook dumplings according to your chicken and dumplings recipe (theparsleythief's called for 12 minutes, which was just perfect!). Just drop your dumpling batter into the simmering soup, by the heaping tablespoonful. Cover the pot and simmer for approximately 12 minutes.
