M&M Everything Cookies

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Toast nuts on a small un-greased pan at 350 F for 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven. Let them cool.
  2. 2. Turn oven temperature up to 375 F.
  3. 3. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and optional ground flax in a small bowl. Set aside.
  4. 4. Using an electric mixer, beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl until creamy. Beat in egg. Gradually beat in flour mixture and milk. Stir in chocolate chips, oats, raisins, nuts, coconut, and M&M's candies.
  5. 5. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto parchment paper-lined baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between them.
  6. 6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are crisp but centers are still soft. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; then remove cookies to wire racks to cool completely.
  7. Notes:
  8. 1. I use less chocolate chips when adding M&M's, but if you are a chocolate lover, go all out.
  9. 2. Makes about 3 dozen.

pecans, flour, baking powder, baking soda, ubc, ground flaxseed, butter, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla, egg, milk, chocolate chips, oats, raisins, sweetened coconut flakes, chocolate
