Healthy Peanut Butter Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (150 degrees C). Coat an 8-inch square baking pan lightly with butter spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the peanut butter and margarine. Add the sugar, vanilla, egg whites, and applesauce and beat until light and fluffy. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Add to the peanut butter and margarine mixture and mix until well blended.
  3. Spread batter evenly into pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool and cut into 16 squares.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
