Strawberry Bread With Cream Cheese Spread

  1. Thaw strawberries and strain, reserving 1/2 cup juice, discarding the rest of the juice.
  2. In a large bowl combine and mix all dry ingredients. Make a well in the center of dry mixture. In a smaller bowl, combine the oil and eggs and beating well.Pour the liquid ingredients into the well. Mix well and fold the strawberries into the batter.
  3. Grease and flour two loaf pans. Pour batter into loaf pans and bake at 350 degrees (F) for 1 hour.
  4. Cream cheese spread: Combine softened cream cheese with reserved strawberry juice and beat until thoroughly mixed. Refrigerate.
