Strawberry Crunch Salad With Sweet Vinaigrette
- 1 package (3 Oz. Size) Ramen Noodles Broken Into Pieces (You Do Not Need The Seasoning Packet)
- 1 cup Chopped Walnuts
- 1/4 cups Butter
- 1/4 cups Olive Oil Or Vegetable Oil
- 1/4 cups Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Red Wine Vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoons Soy Sauce
- 8 cups Torn Romaine Lettuce
- 1/2 cups Chopped Green Onions
- 2 cups Fresh Strawberries, Sliced
- For the crunchies: Saute the noodles and walnuts in the butter until golden brown. Lay out on a cookie sheet to let them cool.
- For the salad dressing: In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the oil, sugar, vinegar, and soy sauce. Shake, shake, shake until mixed. Set aside.
- For the salad: In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, onions strawberries, and noodle mixture. Mix. When ready to serve, shake the dressing one more time, and drizzle it all over the salad. Toss lightly and serve.
