Healthy Probiotic Ketchup
- 2 Tablespoons Water
- 1/2 teaspoons Body Ecology Culture Starter
- 1 bottle (7 Oz. Size) Tomato Paste
- 3 Tablespoons Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Grade B Maple Syrup
- 1/2 teaspoons Sea Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Mustard Powder
- 1/8 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 1 pinch Ground Cloves
- 1 pinch Allspice
- You will also need a clean 8 ounce size glass jar with lid.
- In a medium-sized bowl combine water with culture starter and stir together until well blended. Add all the remaining ingredients into the bowl. Whisk together until smooth.
- Pour into the glass jar and cover with a loose fitting lid. Set on the counter out of direct sunlight for 2-3 days to ferment. Then place it in the fridge. It's ready to enjoy!
- Notes: I recommend the tomato paste in the glass container instead of canned, because the acidity of the tomato leaches unwanted chemicals from cans.
