Fresh Pineapple Margaritas
- FOR THE SIMPLE SYRUP:
- 1/4 cups Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 cups Water
- FOR THE MARGARITAS:
- 3 cups Chopped Fresh Pineapple
- 1 cup Fresh Lime Juice (for 1 Cup You'll Need About 8 Limes)
- 1/2 cups Silver Tequila
- 1/4 cups Orange Liqueur (I Used Grand Marnier)
- 1/4 cups Simple Syrup
- 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Coarse Salt
- Sliced Lime Wedges, For Serving
- For the simple syrup: Combine the sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and stir until sugar has dissolved. Set aside and allow to cool.
- For the margaritas: Place the pineapple in a blender and pulse until combined. Add the lime juice, tequila, orange liqueur, and listed amount of simple syrup and blend until completely mixed.
- Combine the sugar and salt on a plate or shallow dish. Cut lime into wedges and rub the rims of your serving glasses with 1 lime wedge. Dip rims of glasses in sugar-salt mixture.
- Serve margaritas over ice and garnish with lime wedge if desired. Enjoy!
