Mari Lynn'S Ground Beef Casserole
- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 chopped onion
- 1/2 medium chopped green pepper
- 1/2 c. crushed soda crackers
- 2/3 c. water
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 pkg. stuffing mix
- 2 stalks chopped celery
- 1 can undiluted cream of mushroom soup
- Combine meat,
- egg,
- 1/2
- of
- onion,
- green
- pepper and crackers.
- Mix well.
- Line 1 1/2-quart casserole with mixture, pressing evenly
- over
- bottom
- andtp sides.
- Combine 2/3 cup water and
- margarine.
- Heat until margarine melts.tdd stuffing mix and
- other half of onion and celery.
- Mix well.
- Spoon into center
- oftasserole.
- Spoon soup over top.
- Bake uncovered in a preheated 350u0b0 oven 1 hour.
- Makes 4 to 5 servings. Good!
