Sweet And Sour Pork
- 2 (8 oz.) cans pineapple chunks in juice
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 green and 1 red bell pepper, cut in 1-inch squares
- 1 onion, cut up in large pieces
- garlic
- water chestnuts, sliced and drained
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 1 lb. pork, cut into strips
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. cider vinegar
- 1/2 c. Karo syrup (lite or dark)
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. catsup
- 1 pkg. snow peas
- Drain pineapple and reserve juice.
- Stir-fry pork for 3 minutes.
- Stir-fry vegetables for 2 minutes.
- Return all to wok. In bowl, mix pineapple juice and rest of ingredients.
- Stir into wok.
- Add snow peas.
- Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Serve over rice or with chow mein noodles.
