Reindeer Cookies
- 1/2 cups Shortening
- 3/4 cups Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1/3 cups Granulated Sugar
- 1/3 cups Packed Light Brown Sugar
- 1 whole Egg
- 2 Tablespoons Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1-1/2 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt

- FOR ASSEMBLING:
- Broken Pretzel Twists For Antlers
- Mini Chocolate Chips For Eyes
- Red M&Ms For Noses
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat shortening and peanut butter until well blended. Add sugars and beat until fluffy. Add egg, milk, and vanilla; beat well.
- Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into the peanut butter mixture. Shape dough into 1" balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheets and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Immediately insert broken pretzel antlers, then m&m noses, then mini chocolate chip eyes. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
- Makes 4 dozen cookies.
