Cheddar Rosemary Scones
- 2 c. Flour
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Baking Powder
- 1 Tbsp. Fresh Rosemary (Minced)
- 1/2 - 1 tsp. Red Chili
- Pepper Flakes to Taste
- 5 oz. Sharp Cheddar Cheese (Grated)
- 1 1/3 c. Heavy Whipping Cream
- 3 Tbsp. Butter (Melted)
- 1. Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
- Use an ungreased baking sheet. 2. Combine flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, rosemary, chili pepper flakes, and cheese in a bowl stirring with a fork to mix well until the dough holds together. 3. Lightly flour a board and transfer dough to it.
- Form the dough into a ball but don't over handle. Flatten dough to 3/4 inch thick disc. 4. Cut into 8 wedges. Transfer to baking sheet.
- Brush with butter. 5. Bake for 15-17 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
- Serve warm.
