Balsamic And Cherry Glazed Bosc Pears
- 2 whole Bosc Pears (Can Substitute Bartlett Or Anjou)
- 2 Tablespoons Melted Butter
- 4 Tablespoons Aged Balsamic Vinegar
- 3 Tablespoons Pure Cherry Preserves (not Jam Or Jelly)
- 2 Tablespoons Pure Honey
- Cherry Vanilla Ice Cream, To Serve (optional)
- Preheat oven to 425u0b0F.
- Peel pears, remove stem and cut bottom of each so they sit flat on a clean work surface.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, add butter, balsamic vinegar, cherry preserves, and honey. Stir to combine, lower heat and cook 5 minutes. Stir again and set aside.
- In a small oven proof baking dish (large enough to hold both pears upright), set pears and coat with balsamic glaze. Cover loosely with aluminum foil and bake 15 minutes.
- Serve immediately. We love these and serve them with a scoop or two of cherry vanilla ice cream.
