Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
- 1 cup Unsalted Butter, Softened
- 1 cup Packed Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cups Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cups Malted Milk Powder
- 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 Large Egg
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
- 1 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 cup Milk Chocolate Chips
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0F. Line a 9 x 9-inch baking dish with parchment paper and spray with baking spray. Set aside.
- In the bowl of your stand mixer (or with a handheld mixer), beat together butter, sugars, malted milk powder and vanilla until creamy, about 2 minutes. Beat in egg until incorporated.
- In a small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add flour mixture to wet mixture and beat until combined. Stir in chocolate chips with a rubber spatula, until chocolate is evenly distributed.
- Press cookie dough into prepared baking pan. Bake for about 25 minutes until bars look golden brown on top. Cool bars in the pan on a cooling rack for about 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
