Apple Caramel Oatmeal Cookies
- 1 cup Quick Oats
- 1/2 cups White Whole Wheat Flour
- 1/2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
- 6 Tablespoons Butter, Softened
- 2 Tablespoons Unsweetened Applesauce
- 1/2 cups Packed Brown Sugar
- 1 whole Large Egg
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 cups Dried Apple Slices, Diced
- 1/2 cups Kraft Caramel Bits
- Preheat oven 350u0b0F.
- In a small bowl, combine oats, flours, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon.
- In a medium bowl, beat butter, applesauce, and sugar. Add egg and vanilla and beat well. Beat in flour mixture until smooth. Stir in dried apple and caramel bits.
- Spoon 2 tablespoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Bake for 8 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before removing.
