Fast And Fabulous Black Forest Cake

• 1 box (18.25 Oz. Box) Dark Chocolate Cake Mix
• 2 cans (19 Oz. Can) Cherry Pie Filling, Divided (Reserve Half For Topping)
• 3 whole Eggs
• 1 Tablespoon Almond Flavoring
• 1 cup Tiny Chocolate Chips (bulk Foods)
• Whipped Cream, To Garnish

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Mix together cake mix, half of the cherry pie filling, eggs, flavouring and chocolate chips. Beat until well-blended and the cherries are somewhat broken up. Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan and bake for about 45 to 50 minutes or until it tests done. Cool slightly then remove to a cake plate to finish cooling.
3. Slice and garnish with a generous portion of pie filling, whipped cream and a cherry on top or some of Ree's marvelous chocolate curls.
4. Note: there is no oil in the cake, yet it is very moist.
