Banana Split Cake

  1. Combine the graham cracker crumbs and 1/2 cup butter in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Spread and pat into bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine the sugar and remaining butter in a large bowl.
  3. Beat until light.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add vanilla.
  5. Beat until light and fluffy.
  6. Spread carefully over crumbs.
  7. Arrange banana slices over butter-sugar mixture.
  8. Top with pineapple.
  9. Cover with whipped topping.
  10. Sprinkle with nuts and garnish with cherries.
  11. Keep in refrigerator.
