Banana Split Cake
- 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 2 c. confectioners sugar
- 1 additional c. margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 5 bananas, sliced
- 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 pkg. whipped topping
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1/2 (8 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, drained and sliced
- Combine the graham cracker crumbs and 1/2 cup butter in a bowl and mix well.
- Spread and pat into bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine the sugar and remaining butter in a large bowl.
- Beat until light.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add vanilla.
- Beat until light and fluffy.
- Spread carefully over crumbs.
- Arrange banana slices over butter-sugar mixture.
- Top with pineapple.
- Cover with whipped topping.
- Sprinkle with nuts and garnish with cherries.
- Keep in refrigerator.
