Herby Cheese Bites
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 tsp. garlic pepper
- 1/4 tsp. dill weed
- 1/8 tsp. thyme leaves
- 5 (6-inch) flour tortillas
- 1/2 lb. sliced ham, smoked turkey or roast beef
- 3 green onions, green part only
- Beat cream cheese and butter until fluffy.
- Add chives, parsley, garlic pepper, dill weed and thyme.
- Beat well.
- Cover and chill 3 to 4 hours or overnight.
- Slightly soften.
- Reserve 1 tablespoon cheese mixture. Spread cheese mixture over each flour tortilla.
- Top with meat slices.
- Cut green onions into pieces at one edge of tortilla.
- Roll up each tortilla.
- Use reserved cheese mixture to seal edges of tortilla rolls.
- Cut rolls into 3/4-inch slices.
- Arrange on serving plate.
- May be covered and stored in refrigerator up to 4 hours.
- Makes 35 appetizers.
