White And Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cube butter + 1 cube margarine
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. white chocolate chips
- Heat oven to 325u0b0.
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
- Beat butter, margarine and sugars until fluffy.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Beat in flour mixture until just combined.
- Stir in chocolates.
- Drop by slightly rounded teaspoonfuls on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake until edges are brown but centers are still slightly soft (10 minutes).
- Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before cooling on a rack.
- Makes 5 dozen cookies.
