Taco Soup
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 whole Small Onion
- 1 package (about 1 Oz. Packet) Taco Seasoning
- 1-1/2 cup Water
- 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Mild Chili Beans
- 1 can (15.25 Oz. Can) Whole Kernel Corn, Drained
- 1 can (15 Oz. Can) White Shoepeg Corn, Drained
- 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Black Beans, Drained And Rinsed
- 1 can (14.5 Oz. Can) Fire Roasted Tomatoes
- 1 can (10 Oz. Can) Tomatoes With Green Chiles, Such As Rotel
- 1 can (4 Oz. Can) Green Chiles
- 1 package (about 1 Oz. Packet) Zesty Ranch Dressing Mix
- Pickled Jalapenos (optional)
- In a large pot, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add taco seasoning and mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, for at least 15 minutes.
- This recipe is also wonderful with lots of toppings, such as diced tomatoes, lettuce, chopped green onions, sliced black olives, sliced black olives, sliced avocado, guacamole, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, tortilla strips or chips, hot sauce or salsa.
