Fluffer Nutter French Toast
- 16 slices Bread, Such As Hawaiian Or Breakfast Bread
- 16 Tablespoons Peanut Butter
- 8 Tablespoons Marshmallow Creme
- 2 Eggs
- 1/4 cups Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Butter Or Nonstick Spray, Or A Combination Of Both
- Banana Or Strawberry Slices, To Serve (optional)
- Warm Maple Syrup, To Serve (optional)
- Spread half of the slices of bread with 2 tablespoons peanut butter each. On the remaining slices, spread 1 tablespoon marshmallow creme (you can add a little more if you like, but it's very sweet). Assemble the sandwiches by pairing a peanut butter side with a marshmallow side.
- Beat eggs in a small bowl. Mix in milk and vanilla.
- Melt a teaspoon or so of butter in a skillet over medium heat. You can use more butter for grilling, or use nonstick spray to make up the difference.
- Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture, allowing the excess to drip off. Grill sandwiches on each side 1-2 minutes until golden brown and filling is hot.
- Serve with banana or strawberry slices and hot maple syrup, if desired.
