Tasty Garlic Soup
- 1 head Garlic, Large
- 1/4 sticks Butter
- 6 cups, 5 tablespoons, 1 teaspoon, 5-1/4 pinches Water
- 2 cubes Chicken Bouillon, Or To Taste
- 1 slice White Bread (No Crust)
- 2 sprigs Cilantro (Coriander)
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- Cumin, To Taste
- Peel all the cloves from the garlic head, and smash them a bit. There must still be big chunks of garlic.
- In a deep pot, melt the butter with a few drops of olive oil to prevent the butter from burning; saute the garlic until golden brown. BE VERY CAREFULL NOT TO BURN THEM! Then add half of the water and the bouillon; let it boil for a while, until the garlic is very tender.
- In the blender, liquefy the cilantro, bread and the garlic with the liquid. Pour it back into the same pot. Add the rest of the water, let it boil for 5 minutes. Add salt, pepper and cumin to taste. You can also add a bit more of chicken bouillon. Mix well, and it is ready to serve.
