Cube Steaks With Gravy

  1. Place flour in a large resealable plastic bag.
  2. Add steaks, a few at at time, and shake until completely coated.
  3. In a skillet, cook steaks in oil until lightly browned on each side.
  4. Transfer to a slow cooker.
  5. Add the onion and 2 cups water. Cover and cook on low for eight hours or until meat is tender.
  6. In a bowl, whisk together gravy mixes with remaining water.
  7. Add to slow cooker; cook 30 minutes longer.
  8. Serve over mashed potatoes or noodles. Yields 6 servings.
