Turkey Broccoli Casserole
- 4 oz. (3 c.) uncooked noodles
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli spears
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt substitute seasonings
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1 c. low-fat Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 c. nonfat milk
- 3 c. turkey, cooked and diced
- Cook noodles and broccoli as directed on the packages.
- Drain. Melt margarine; stir in flour and seasonings.
- Add milk slowly; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
- Remove from heat; add cheese and stir until melted.
- Dice broccoli stems and leaves; keep flowerets whole.
- Place noodles, broccoli stems and turkey in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
- Pour cheese sauce over ingredients in baking dish.
- Arrange broccoli flowerets on top, pressing them into sauce.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350u0b0 for about 25 minutes or until bubbly.
- Makes 6 servings (1 cup size).
