Mojo Verde (Canarian Green Sauce)

  1. Blend cilantro (or parsley), garlic, sunflower seeds (optional), lime juice, cumin, sea salt and black pepper with a food processor or blender. Gradually add oil until you like the consistency. Serve with fresh bread, potatoes, roasted vegetables or fish. Enjoy!
  2. If you want to preserve this, boil jars in water for 15 minutes, cool them, then pour the green sauce in with 1 tablespoon of olive oil on top. That way, you can store it in the fridge for a few weeks. If you want to store it longer, simply freeze it.
