Chocolate Chess Pie

  1. Melt butter and chocolate. Mix eggs and sugar with the melted butter and chocolate. Add evaporated milk and vanilla.
  2. Mix well and pour into the unbaked crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 300 to 325 degrees and bake for about 25 minutes more or until filling is set. Cool completely.
  3. The one ingredient that makes a difference in this recipe is the quality of the chocolate.
  4. Beat cream, powdered sugar, and cinnamon till peaks form. Serve on top or alongside slices of pie.
