School Days Peanut Butter Squares

  1. 1. Mix peanut butter, butter, vanilla, confectioner's sugar, and brown sugar together in one bowl. You may want to use a mixer, as the peanut butter can make it pretty thick. If you don't have a mixer, let the peanut butter and butter soften before mixing all the ingredients.
  2. 2.Press the mixture into a 9x13 glass pan.
  3. 3. Put it in the fridge for up to four hours or overnight. (I like to keep it in the fridge for up to one hour before serving.)
  4. 4. I know some schools used chocolate on top of the squares, so this is completely optional. Melt the chocolate on the stove. Pour over the peanut butter mixture in the glass pan. Or you could do like my school and sprinkle some confectioner's sugar on the top.
  5. You can cut this into 12 large squares or 24 smaller ones. I prefer the larger ones. Call me greedy.
