Barbecued Shrimp
- 1/2 lb. bacon, chopped
- 1/4 lb. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. basil
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1 tsp. freshly ground coarse black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 Tbsp. Rex crab boil (seasoning)
- 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- 1 1/2 lb. large shrimp (with shells)
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- In a small frying pan, fry bacon until clear.
- Add the margarine and remaining ingredients except the shrimp.
- Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Place the unpeeled shrimp in an open baking dish and pour sauce over the top.
- Stir once to coat all of the shrimp.
- Bake in an uncovered dish for 20 minutes, stirring twice during the baking process.
- Serve hot.
- Peel shrimp and enjoy.
- Great over rice or as is.
- Serves 6.
