- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- sprigs fresh mint, rinsed first in cold water
- 6 firm lemons
- 1 1/2 c. sugar or more to taste
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 qt. water

- Add more sherbet as needed.
- Serves 30 to 40 people, using punch cups or Dixie cups.
