Kraut Conquers All Chocolate Cake

  1. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  2. Stir in vanilla and kraut.
  3. Sift dry ingredients together.
  4. Add to mixture alternately with water, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
  5. Pour batter into two well-greased and floured 8-inch round or square pans.
  6. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes, or until cake tests done.
  7. Fill and frost with Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting.
