Strawberry Balsamic Tart

  1. For the tart:
  2. Preheat oven to 425u0b0F.
  3. Cut puff pastry into 4 or 6 squares and place on a baking sheet lined with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper. Prick all over with a fork to keep the pastry from puffing up. Arrange strawberries on top.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown, rotating halfway through. Serve immediately with a drizzle of balsamic reduction and ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
  5. For the balsamic reduction:
  6. Add balsamic vinegar and brown sugar to a small saucepan. Simmer for 10 minutes or until sauce has reduced by half. Keep warm until ready to use.
