Blend Of The Bayou Seafood Casserole
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 1 lb. shrimp, peeled
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 ribs celery, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can mushrooms, drained
- 1 Tbsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. Tabasco
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper
- 1 pt. crab meat
- 3/4 c. cooked rice
- sharp cheese, grated
- cracker crumbs
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 c. onions, chopped
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 c. okra, chopped
- 1 lb. crabmeat
- 1 to 2 lb. peeled shrimp
- 1/2 lb. fish filets
- 1/2 pt. oysters
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 stick butter
- 3 qt. water
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- Use large pan.
- Saute in butter the onions, celery, green pepper, garlic and okra for 10 minutes.
- Add to this mixture the roux, water and Worcestershire sauce.
- Cook for 1 hour.
- Add all other ingredients and cook for another hour.
- Serve in soup bowl with rice and green onions (chopped).
