Chocolate Biscuit Cream Dream
- 7 ounces, weight Chocolate Biscuits (Here In South Africa We Use Romany Creams)
- 1 tablespoon, 1 teaspoon, 1 pinches Sherry Or Port Or Any Dessert Wine Or Liqueur
- 1 cup, 2-2/3 teaspoons, 7/8 pinches Cream (whipped Until Stiff)
- 3/4 pounds, 3/4 ounces, weight Caramel (I Think In The USA You Call It Dulce De Leche?)
- 1/2 pounds, 7/8 ounces, weight Fine Crushed Nuts (any Nuts Will Do - I Use Pecans Because My Hubby Likes It!)
- 1/2 cups Grated Chocolate
- Layer a dish with layers of the following:
- biscuits
- drizzle the biscuits with the dessert wine
- whipped cream
- caramel/Dulce de leche
- nuts
- grated chocolate
- Repeat the layers until you run out of ingredients, but make sure you end with the grated chocolate.
- Refrigerate for at least a few hours and enjoy with custard or ice cream!
- Warning! This is a very, very sweet dessert and not for the faint hearted.
